1½ cups Eatwell Farm triticale flour2/3 cup granulated sugar ½ cup yellow cornmeal 1 Tbsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 1¼ cup milk 2 pasture-raised eggs 1/3 cup vegetable oil 3 Tbsp butter, melted Eatwell Farm lavender or smoked chili salt (optional)
Preheat oven to 350° F and grease an 8”x8” square baking pan. Combine flour, sugar, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, combine milk, eggs, oil and melted butter. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and whisk just until a smooth batter forms. Pour into greased baking pan, sprinkle lavender or chili salt on top (if using) and bake approximately 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
