Most grass farmers would look at the way we establish our pasture and chuckle at the lengths we go to. My only answer is that we use the equipment that we have to grow our vegetables at that is all we have. The seeds are sown 12 rows, 5 inches apart on beds. The rows of pasture are weeded by our Swiss brush hoe because we have it and a clean pasture is what we all want.
We are hoping that the girls will move onto this by mid March.
