Lorraine and I have a deal, I grow it and she cooks it. Her love of cooking and discovery of the beauty of simple, very fresh foods from the farm has been wonderful to watch these past eight years. It did involve building her kitchen stadium inside our farmhouse but a small price to pay for such delicious food.
Lorraine is preparing meals for our first strawberry day Saturday May 2nd. She has been cooking since she was five. Her love of experimenting comes from her job as the first recipe developer from Amy's Kitchen. Each week Lorraine developes recipes for the harvest share, helping us all get the most from the bounty of the farm that we receive. I write on one side Of the newsletter what is happening on the farm and Lorraine inspires us all on the other side.
