This is Gonzales and he is in charge of irrigating our grain crops. It will take him about 4 days to cover the 32 acres. We have Wheat, Triticale, Malting Barely and Oats planted. The rain stopped too soon for the grains so they need a dose now. This will be enough to last them until we harvest in June. This will be the last year we use furrow irrigation for the grains. Next year they will be incorporated in to the regular farm bed systems and sprinkler irrigation cycle.
