Steen works for Wilkinson Tractor in Woodland. He's a great mechanic and the one they usually send out to fix our two Case tractors.

There is one thing he is very touchy about and that is his homeland, Denmark. When he first was on the farm I asked if he was from Sweden. He very sternly informed me that he was a Dane and not a Dane without a brain (A Swede). My good friend Per, from Sweden, will have something to say about that I am sure.

Last Monday Steen, the Dane, replaced a bearing and seal on the left front axle of our tractor. Fortunately it is still under warranty. The tractor is now back in the field working ten hours a day planting and preparing beds of vegetables for the fall and winter.
