The pressure is on, literally. We have until October 15th when our canal water is cut off. Each move we can irrigate two acres and we do this twice per day. So in five days we can cover the twenty acres of pasture Roberto sowed for our chicken pasture next year. By 7am Tuesday morning we will have completed the first pass. Then we go back to the beginning to make a second pass. We need to make sure the grasses and clovers have enough moisture to germinate. It is important that this is deep enough so that if it does not rain for another month they will not run out of the elixir of life. The seedlings should start to appear in a few days.
