Ramon and Miguel were removing tomato stakes from the field on Monday. Jose and I have been discussing which varieties and how much to grow next year. The reality is that we have tomatoes growing on the farm ten months of the year. We start seedlings the first week of January and in late October we are still picking a few tomatoes.

We do need your feedback as to what varieties you liked or disliked this past year. This helps us plan our seed sowing. We know many people like the regular red slicers and romas. The heirlooms are popular but fragile and have to be eaten within a few days of receiving your box.

The picture below was taken at our tomato tasting event on the farm in late July.
