1 c. sugar1¼ c. flour (sifted) 1½ tsp. baking soda 1½ tsp. baking powder ½ tsp. salt ½ c. butter (melted) 1 c. persimmon pulp 1 tsp. vanilla ½ c. milk 1 c. soft bread, torn into small pieces 1 c. chopped dates 1 c. chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 300. Sift together dry ingredients three times. Add remaining ingredients and stir until just blended. Pour into a small greased and floured tube pan . Bake for 1¼ hours or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool. Serve with honey whipped cream .
