These are the strawberry plants that we got in August which were frozen since January. As you can see they are doing very well. The berries taste good but they are very fragile due to rain damage so there is no way we can put them in our Eatwell Boxes.
Last springs crop has produced valiantly after a very cool spring. It turned out to be our best ever crop in terms of fruit harvested. It was late and light for our strawberry days in the spring though. It is already mowed with the tractor when I write this. The plastic much under it will be removed along with the drip lines. We may move the chickens here depending on the weather at the end of the month.
