DSCF0072.JPG We have been enjoying fresh green garlic in the boxes for several weeks now. The flavor is delicate at this stage so please do not overcook it. My favorite way to enjoy it is to chop finely and cook in a skillet for a minute or two then drop in eggs. Serve up scrambled, omlete or whatever you wish.

The crop looks good, nice a clean and green thanks to the chickens. We will harvest the garlic bulbs in June. Normally at our Solstice Party we pick and braid garlic. This year Lorraine and I will be married that weekend so no garlic braiding this year, sorry.
