IMG_5298.JPG Lecker Magazine Serves 6 - 8 When making the Davis deliveries a couple of weeks ago I took a moment to check out the magazine section at Newsbeat, one of our dropsite locations.  They have a great assortment of German cooking magazines - Lecker is one of them.  I made this recipe that night when I got home and it was so quick, simple and yummy.  Definitely even better the next day,  Great way to use up cabbage!

4 Onions 3 - 4 cloves of Garlic 1 lb. of Chorizo 2 lb. of Potatoes 4 TB Olive Oil 2 lb. Green Cabbage 2 Qts Salt and Pepper to taste Water or a mix of water and stock  I used just water and there was plenty of flavor! Peel and chop onions and garlic.  Heat oil in a pan and cook the onion, garlic and chorizo.  If your chorizo is in casing remove that first.  Wash, peel and cube potatoes.  Remove outside leaves from the cabbage then chop.  Bring the water to a boil and add the potatoes, cook about 10 minutes.  Add the cabbage, onion, garlic and chorizo and cook another 20 minutes.  Salt and pepper to taste.
