1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. grated carrots
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
¼ tsp. salt
1 ½ c.  flour
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Combine sugar, oil, and eggs; blend thoroughly. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in carrots and nuts. Spread batter evenly in loaf pan. Bake 55 minutes.
