IMG_2218.JPG The trees on the right are plums and they have bloomed and set their fruit. The one’s on the left are cherries and are almost in full bloom, they should be spectacular by Sunday. There are six varieties of cherries to produce fruit over a six week period. It has taken too many years to stimulate them into full production. They now have blossom from top to bottom so we are hoping for a good crop.We have tied down the branches to near horizontal to curb vegetative growth and encourage fruit bud development. They have had no compost since the day they were planted to starve them into fruiting. Our soil is so fertile look at them! Monster trees.
