Roberto sows seeds almost every week with our seeding machine. It sows 12 rows on a bed. With such high temperatures at the moment it is difficult to germinate many of the seeds without a lot of water. Lettuce will not germinate above 90F. We have to wait until there will be a couple of days below that temperature to sow the seeds. The seeds need only 24 hours at the lower temperature to start the germination then it can get hot again. We still need to maintain good moisture levels to get the seed to emerge.
