Last week we planted 25lbs of peanut seed. The seeds are sown 1" deep every 6" on top of ridges 40" apart. We had enough seed for about 0.2 of an acre. This will be enough for a few in everyones box next fall. We will also be having a special sleepover party for members of the farm and their guests in September. We will dig the peanuts and prepare them in a multitude of ways. We also have some avid home brewers in our CSA and we though we could invite them along and do some sampling. Beer and peanuts what a wonderful way to end a summer.
