Our Potato seed came with an extra sheet of paper this year, a quarantine notice for Colorado Potato Beetle. Before we could plant the local Agricultural commissioner had to inspect the potatoes for this pest. They came last week and thankfully found not problem and signed off on my notice so we can plant the crop. After the crisis with the Mediterranean fruit Fly in Dixon the county commissioner is very much on the alert. We fully support this.
The seed comes from Rocky Farms in Colorado, 60% is organic this year.
