To say that Agustin is happy with his electric golf cart is an understatement. He is always on it, he zooms around the farm. He is seen here delivering chick feed to the youngest chicks on the farm.
We would love to buy more of these but in this financial climate we have to be very careful.
Ricardo wants one to help him move irrigation pie around the farm. Jose and the picking crew want two. Fernando says he can't live without one so that he can carry his tools and supplies around the farm when he is repairing things. I prefer to walk, I see much more that way. An old farmers saying is that" the best fertilizer on the farm is the farmers footsteps" meaning as we walk around we see what needs to be done.
This part of our journey to a more sustainable farm will have to wait for additional funds.
