At the market there is always a run on our eggs, we always sell out. Last week I was sick and unable to mill any flour and boy did we hear about it. I love to grow things that people get passionate about, so thank you! Today I began to train Ricardo to mill the flour, he did a great job. We will have Expresso and Blanco Fuerta at the market this morning.
On Thursday Roberto and Ramon spent most of the afternoon cleaning wheat. I had ordered some extra trays to help get the wheat cleaner (removing the stems etc). I bought #12 and #13 size hole trays. The wheat falls througth the holes onto a tray below which itself allows only that smaller that the whet berries to pass through. The wheat then passses through a jet of air which blows away (whinnows) any lighttrash still present.
