DSCF1497.JPG Just after 9 am the chicks arrived from the hatchery in Davis just 8 miles away. These girls are just hours old. A few hatched yesterday but most overnight. They are full of life and ready to go.

They drink water and eat cracked organic corn and wheat. They need roughage to start up their digestion. If we gave them the rich chick feed right away it would bung up their system. They will start to eat the chick feed tomorrow. 100% cute.
