We have six chicken houses and every six months two flocks are retired. The chickens get rehoused as urban girls. The houses are cleaned, repainted, repaired and reloaded with more chicks. Our last batch for this year arrived las week from the hatchery in Davis. They are cross between Rhode Island Red and White Rock. They have done well for us in the past.
