Our Lombardy Poplars are working hard breaking the wind on the farm today These newly planted onions and peppers really appreciate it. It is hard to irrigate in the wind with the water blowing all over the place. Poplars have a life of about 15 to 20 years. We have already lost a few. They will be replaced with several lines of fruit and nut trees. These will not grow as tall but make up for the lost height with the multiple rows that we will plant.
