Last year our egg production dropped dramatically as the days shortened in early October. This year this has happened to a lesser degree. I think the chickens came through the heat of the summer in a much better condition as it was not so hot. We also have 1,000 chicks that will start laying small pullet eggs in December.
I am now partially lifting the egg rationing so any member of the farm can now get up to 1 dozen eggs with their box per week. please call or email Molly or David in the office to make the changes to your account.
Thanks for your understanding... Nigel
