The lettuce in your box this week is cut and bagged in the field. We then put them in the cooler until we pack your box. The lettuce was sown as seeds in the greenhouse during August. After five or six weeks it can be transplanted into beds in the field. We are sowing lettuce directly into beds now for harvesting in February.
