Last Weekends Winter storm did not bother the chickens one bit. The have their houses and underneath them also to get away from the weather. Any break in the rain is a chance to get outside again.
There is no standing water as the soil soaks up all the moisture, a good sign that we might be doing a few things right around here. The new pasture has grown very well. We planted it a couple of weeks earlier than last year which has made a big difference in how well it has established by Thanksgiving.
