The wet spring has delayed planting much like last year. Roberto and Ramon have spent some time cultivating the beds just right. We believe we are planting them into the best beds we have ever had. We sprouted the 5,000 pounds of  seed before planting so they are revved up ready to grow once the hit the ground. We are hoping to have the first harvest Mid June.

The crew drops the seed down a tube which is welded onto the back of a furrow opener. Roberto follows with the rolling cultivator to move some soil over the seed.
