Our soil is strong and the trees have taken quite a while to get into a production mode. They were having too much fun reaching for the sky on all the nutrient rich soil. So we have in fact starved them into producing fruit. We are hoping for a good crop. The early blossom did open during the last few days of March rain so they will not bear much yield but the other should be loaded.
